Who We Are
Woody's Country Store was started in June, 1970, by Jeanne and Woody Oldroyd.
Woody's operated out of the former Strong and French building, on the southeast corner of Route 14 and Monkey Run Rd., from 1970 until June, 1974. Woody's then moved to it's current location, where there have been 6 additions to the original building, which Woody pre-fabricated in his garage.
Gas pumps were added in 1986. The kitchen and bakery was added in 1987.
Throughout the years there have been many changes. The goal always been to meet the needs of the folks. To treat the customer the way we would want to be treated. At Woody's, our goal is to recognize the customer when they enter and to thank them for their business when they leave.
Our son, Josh Oldroyd has worked in the store since 1989 and is now the manager.
Woody's Self Storage was added in 2008, which holds 24 enclosed lockable units and later in 2012 we added a second building that now holds 13 additional enclosed and lockable units.
